If a flashy super yacht is more your idea of the perfect proposal than a flash mob to Robyn, then meet the Infinity Pacific.
The 40 metre Italian-built beauty is a floating palace for queens and queers with style and will be in Sydney Harbour for the 2018/2019 summer.
It’s impossible to say ‘No’ to any proposal with interiors by French designers Fréderic Méchiche and Luca Dini enhancing the master suites, two VIP double cabins and two twin cabins. When you’re on your feet there’s the sunroom, formal and informal dining areas and a Japanese-style soaking tub.
"Sydney and Australia continue to receive strong demand from the luxury holiday market and we were delighted with how well Infinity Pacific was received by discerning clients and local and international families last year," says Greg Karedis, co-founder and owner of the Pacific Hotel Group.
Australian entrepreneurs Theo Karedis (and hotelier Arthur Laundy (father of Bachelorette contestant) co-own the Sofitel Noosa, Crowne Plaza Terrigal and Manly Pacific hotels under the Pacific Hotels banner, which now includes the Infinity Pacific.
“After one season on Sydney Harbour we have enhanced opportunities on board to further impress local and international guests looking to enjoy an unrivalled experience on our spectacular waters.”
Plan an itinerary that takes in the charm of the Pittwater, magnificenbt Sydney Harbour, Whitsundays, Cairns, Gold Coast, Great Barrier Reef and Lizard Island. The Infinity Pacific can also make longer voyages between Australia and the South Pacific and New Zealand.
Don’t expect to lift a finger unless you’re reaching for a canapé with a professional super yacht crew of eight providing a personalised cruising experience.
As for those canapés? Sofitel Noosa Beach House Restaurateur, Peter Kuruvita, has crafted a menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients in dishes such as Sri Lankan Snapper Curry, Seared Yellow Fin Tuna with Ruby Grapefruit and Sweet Pork and Crackling.
Find love at sea from $3500 an hour, or $22 000 for a day.
