31th July 2018
As a leading figure in the fashion industry Aussie expat Jarrad Serafine-Clark makes the dreams of John Galliano, Julie de Libran at Sonia Rykiel and countless luxury labels come true. His greatest production, however is his marriage to Jarrod Serafine-Clark.
In an open letter during the Australian same sex marriage plebiscite Jarrad described the special day in New York.
"This moment offered us a new level of calm, and as we said our vows to love, respect, and above all else trust each other to be there no matter how bad the cards fell our hearts swelled with pride,” Jarrad wrote.
"This day humbled us, as we realised getting married was truly an honourable gift, never to be taken for granted."

"It all happened so fast and was so empowering."
Our wedding revolved around music we both loved. It included an original song by Justin Jesso A Beautiful Night. At the ceremony he sang Barry White's You Are The First, My Last, My Everything.
"Saying our vows and the sense of calm that enveloped us both. We were so worried about the moment but it all happened so fast and was so empowering."
In our backyard in Germantown, in the capable hands of our Master of Ceremonies and bestie Alex Zabotto-Bentley.
Our amazing friends and family who travelled from Australian and Europe to join us including Jayson Brunsdon, Jack and Rachael Bedwani, Nikki Andrews, Kat Vidovic, Michael Murphy, April Grieves, Marco Maccapani and Mark Coppleson.
Everything local. We had a cheese and charcuterie table, burrata and tomato salad and BBQ beef and prawns.
We had two of our favourites, tiramisu and pavlova.

The speeches, especially a story our mothers shared. A week before the wedding they met for the first time and were able to get to know each other. They discovered to our surprise that we were both named after the same TV character from The Big Valley.
